Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to classic music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
